No, maybe it won't linger at the back of his conscious mind but it will linger with his neurons. The brain is more likely to shut down to protect itself upon receiving trauma/loss of blood flow after being forcibly shutdown.

I see 4 scenarios as I have mentioned and a stoppage by Mayweather is not in the top 2 in my opinion but that does not mean it cant happen.
Same goes with the fighters that Pac has been fighting compared to Mayweather.

Neither fighter has fought anyone like each other but there is a wider gap between Maidana and Canelo when it comes to foot speed in and out, back and forth and angles that Pac will bring, as opposed to fighters Pac has fought compared to Mayweather. Bradley and Algieri slightly better prepare Pac for Mayweather than Maidana and Canelo prepare Mayweather for Pac. Not by a huge stretch but noticeable. It is who adjusts quickest if they have to adjust that dictates what happens. This fight will not be a barnburner but it will be exciting and close.

you can already tell the knockout has lingered, Pac uses skills and intelligence now. It might be not a good move against Mayweather though, who wants a slower fight. But to be fair, Pac is quite defensively sound these days - people knock his defense - but look at the damage he dished out doing so, it's one or the other.

Not to fret though, Floyd really does't seem that fast anymore, he struggles to hit guys but his defense is still sharp.

Floyd did for example, out skill Marquez and win easily, but Pacquiao at the same time did a lot more damage to Marquez.

Idiot who said Floyd fought Canelo and Cotto as "bigger" guys so he wins because he's been dealing with bigger guys.

                WTF?

He fought Guerro coming up from 135, 1 fight after his 147 debut.
He fought JMM at 142 coming up from 135, I don't need to say what happened on weigh-in.
He fought Ortiz, 1 fight after his 147 debut.
He fought Shane at 147 - Legit
                he fought Canelo - 152 - catchweight
He fought Cotto - 154 - Legit but fought him after Pac/Marg losses since he likes playing the L game only when it benefits him.

Where are you guys coming from saying he has fought guys bigger or bigger punchers than anyone Pac has faced? Recently yes, he faced JMM, Bradley and Algeri. 2 boxers and a top 5 p4p at the time when he faced 2 of 3.

Prior to that he fought LEGIT fighters at 147. Even if it was BS catchweights, at a fight night weight disadvantage. Only one he had problems with was with Margarito. If you can say Floyd punches harder than Marg then I'd believe you but you know you'd be lying about that too!

Damn, think about what your saying before you type ****. You floyd fans (a majority) must really not be boxing fans....I am starting to see how some Floyd fans that been here for awhile are annoyed with Pac fans when they only watch Pac fights. Watch more than single fights or read about a fight then post some ****** **** on here.

KO loss is definitely still lingering. You can see him slightly gun shy and not as wild. That may hurt him trying to press the action when moving in or out. Undecided when he should be attacking.
