Ive seen that fight 3 or 4 times. It was a close fight, but I felt Lara edged it. He had clean head work versus Canelo's body shots which were half-landed. Lara shouldn't have ran as much as he did, but either way it's not like Canelo did a number on him.

You really seem to hate Canelo. You find one famous retired boxer who thinks he is nothing special so you have to make a tread about it. What about the huge number of Mexican boxing fans who think Canelo is special? Are they wrong and only Mancini knows he is not that good? Lots of pro boxers including GGG said Canelo is a very good fighter. Maybe Mancini is jealous because Canelo can make more money in one big fight than he made in his whole career. I am not Mexican but I think Canelo is an excellent and special fighter and I could care less what Mancini thinks of him although I have to wonder why Mancini went out of his way to trash him. Time will tell how good Canelo is but only Mayweather has defeated him. I am thinking he is damn good and will get better. GGG could probably beat him but he could probably beat anybody under 175.
