I'll say right now that Thurman is currently overhyped. Ghost looked terrible... Porter gets rid of that version of Ghost IMO......And Thurman would have nothing to answer Porters aggression in my eyes, considering how the last few rounds played out.

But that's irrelevant.... it'll be Brooks superior timing and boxing skill that sees him beat Thurman....
It's not an excuse at all. I was never impressed with porter.....i'm still not!!

Thurman- Canelo could be huge in a year or so..maybe even Thurman-GGG a couple years down the road who knows.. I think he'd fight anyone at least..
You mean Floyd and Broner? yeah there's loads of them........

And I haven't been impressed by Ghost since he dropped Vincente Escebedo with a Counter uppercut at what LW?

Paulie may be past it but Porters win over him is better than The Ghosts wins over Berto and Aydin and a loss to Floyd.

So what has Thurman done that's all that impressive? His best win is still the Chavez win IMO.

I will be honest, i hadn't heard much of thurman till recently, then decided to watch him against Guerrero, ( courtesy of simbros )

I've always liked Guerrero a come forward fast slick boxer that can ****, but man, Thurman beat up on him.

Don't know how he lasted in there, not sure if his recent fights have caught up with him, but thurman was straight in on him he is so strong and fast, bit like Andre ward the way he comes in and out, but his punching power is stronger.

He will be in some great fights, i like the guy, even his eccentricity lol

Once upon a time Ghost was a "fast slick boxer" but those times are long gone.

I never thought they were long gone to be honest, i thought he just looked lost against floyd after 3 rounds which a lot of fighters do.

But against thurman it was like he was walking through mud and was really having to push the shots out, he took a lot of punishment in that fight, a lot more than when he fought floyd.

Ask yourself....why did he stand inside with Aydin? He is tailor made for a counter puncher yet Ghost fought Aydin's game the whole fight.

His legs are either gone or being criminally under trained in camp. he doesn't bend his legs enough anyway. I hate guys like Ghost who still train with there Dad when they are clearly limited in there training methods.

LOL Kell Brook's promoter says otherwise. They're already working on keeping that belt hostage on the other side of the pond.
