One guy translated it on twitter, according to him Kovalev actually calls Beterbiev a "friggin coward" for ducking Chilemba.

If you translate literally what Sergey said, it will be "You pissed yourself", so "friggin coward" is pretty accurate translation, hehe


" your head flew off your shoulders" is not so accurate, Kovalev said something like that:

"The back of your head was touching your arse"

I think a Beterbiev fight would be a great event given the history but ultimately I doubt he'd ever be able to beat Crusher now.

Atleast he admits no shame he took a knee from Golovkin straight up. That's pretty awesome from GGG. Wouldn't put too much weight in that as a guage of who'd win there though for reasons given plus they'd try things in sparring they might not in a fight.

I don't think either -- Beterbiev seems unprepared for a 10 or 12 rounder at this stage... And definitely not prepared for Kovalev at the pros... But who knows?

Bombing out Campillo won't be that impressive anymore either. Campillo isn't that guy anymore, if Beterbiev is the truth he should bomb the guy out.

yeah, i thought the chilemba fight would have been a good test. if he had blasted chilemba then he really would have announced himself as a danger-man. even if he didn't do a cloud job, he still would have learned a lot. puzzling decision to dodge it.
