That's interesting...and after he beats Campillo they will rank him no 2. He might become the quickest flash in the pan in boxing history.

The amateurs were a long time ago and Kovalev has come a long way since then. Beterbiev if a srtong prospect but he is at least a year away from fighting Kovalev and being ready for it.

        I ****ing love Kovalev.

I don't think Beterbiev is ready for this, no matter what happened in the amateurs. The amateurs are the amateurs, they ultimately mean nothing towards the pros.

One guy translated it on twitter, according to him Kovalev actually calls Beterbiev a "friggin coward" for ducking Chilemba.

Blah blah blah. Artur will smash that hype job if they meet.

I'd like to hear Kovalev address the rumors that GGG supposedly KO'd him sparring.
Kovalev already said that he was out of shape -- he was coming from vacations or something... a.s.o.

I don't think either -- Beterbiev seems unprepared for a 10 or 12 rounder at this stage... And definitely not prepared for Kovalev at the pros... But who knows?

It seems that the only boxer whom Kovalev openly respects is GGG.
