You can say he doesn't deserve the respect because he was never the type of fighter to chase the biggest challenges out there, but he's got a good resume, took a few gambles in his day and beat a lot of good fighters. Give the guy a ****in' break.
    Quoted for truth.

He brings a great point but c'mon man, if this is for the MW title then Cotto deserves the flak he'll get.

      I hope this is either
      1.) Not true
2.) At 154 without the 160 WBC title on the line

eehhhh.... I mean it is what it is just don't expect a portion of the boxing world to well ... care.

Unless this leads to Canelo then why care.

cotto a bum, give up the 160 and make your money fights at 154, why use the 160lb as a gimmick?

But I cant hate I know exactly what he is doing, he holding on to that strap just incase mawyeather wins on may2nd and most likely mayweather will go after cotto belt in september cause it will be too easy. That belt is a future big payday for him.

This better not be for the 160 Gold.

I have no problems with this fight if Cotto's vacating and they're fighting for K9's 154 strap. Cotto's way to small for 160 anyway. Hell he's even small for 154.
How I feel, except the too small for 154 part. The guy doesn't even want to try and make 147, he must not think he can.
