If you already have a system in place that would penalize the other fighter for failing a drug test. If you've already agreed that if a fighter fails a drug test you can go after him for tens of millions of dollars in monetary compensation, then why in the hell would you need to attach a pointless addendum for an additional 5 million penalty?

If Floyd fails a drug test and the fight is cancelled, Arum and Pac can claim they lost upwards of 80 million dollars and sue. But Koncz is bytching about adding an additional 5 million? Does this really make sense?

Or could it be that this is a cheap publicity stunt?

Only Pacquiao go to other countries to fight. Floyd doesn't. Rios suspects Manny was doping in Macau and it's pretty believeable. His team is trying to limit monetary damage to only 5 million dollars. Shameful.

Feel free to post a link showing that Rio's suspected Pacquiao of being on PEDS. I would be Interested In reading more about this because I don't recall any controversy surrounding that fight. As a matter of fact I believe that Pacquiao was the one who requested testing.

mannys reasoning was needle phobia and saying it weakened him..leading me to this.. where did mannys fear of needles go?

cutoff dates = not random! .. if youre clean why u wanna dictate the testing
Floyd will only have to worry during those 6-7 weeks prior to fight night. He sometimes would fight once a year. That means a cut off dates where Floyd does not get tested for 38 to 46 weeks out of 52. If Floyd was clean and really wanted to clean up the sport, you yourself are saying that it is the wrong way to go about it.

I guess we really need to question if Floyd is clean. Even those 6-7 weeks period, Floyd has Ariza and Memo on his side. FLoyd has nothing to worry about.

Also, you must be mad as hell because, Floyd even admitted to injecting drugs in his hands. Imagine, with Manny, he wants to go above and beyond the commissions rules but not for himself!

You are clueless. Rios was caught using a banned substance not Manny.

it might be a cheap stunt but it was clear what the reporter was asking at that time, it was suppose to be a bet between Pac and Floyd.

                • So lets say TBE test positive for a ban substance prior to the fight and according to the contract that Pac signed it meant the fight would be cancel, which equal lost of earning for Pac, which means Pac can sue Mayweather for whatever amount his solicitors can get... So why would his manager want to put a $5M on the amount of compensation now beforehand?

                  • What is wrong with everyone, this is so embarrassing. Everyone argued for this fight and now excuses are everywhere. Koncz is so ****** it is unreal. Mayweather the 'defensive fighter' doping really? Pacquiao doesn't juice either, 5 million is a pr move plain and simple that makes no sense, negotiating after the fact. This is embarrassing. Ellerbe and Koncz are snakes how do we believe these clowns. People are so confused by VADA and USADA and are believing people that have lied to you repeatedly. I am blaming both sides they are all liars. People taking Bob arum or Ellerbe's word as gospel it is unreal. Lets enjoy the fight, they both present problems the other hasn't seen. Side note people ask like ariza just came on the scene. 2001 Mayweather Corrales. COrrales's s and c coach was Ariza. (PAcquiao fans -mayweather on them shakes though but pacquiao wasnt, mayweather fans pacquiao was on the shakes but now mayweather isnt, so ******)

It was never a bet. The reporter misunderstood what he heard and Arum corrected him. Doesn't take a genius to understand this. Stop trolling because you being ****** has offended many posters on here.
