Arum explained what floyds team said when they tried to put in that stipulation. Its still su****ious that he turned that down because how often do we read about fighters successfully getting sued for huge amounts of money like that over a drug test. I dont think they can sue for revenue that it was supposed to generate, they can only sue for the money they spent putting together the fight. Definitely su****ious. Pacquiao wanted the $5 Million IN ADDITION to the ban and whatever tens of millions he could get from Floyd when Floyd tests positive for PEDs. But Floyd did not want to pay the extra $5 Million which is dumb since that amount is nothing compared to the over $80 Million which Pac could win from him when he (Mayweather) tests positive for PEDs.

Floyd just wanted to get his way. $5 Million means nothing to both he and Manny yet he (Floyd) does not want to pay extra when he tests positive. Really dumb idiot of Floyd because by refusing to pay the extra $5 Million (in addition to the 4 year ban and lawsuit money that Pac has readily agreed to) when he tests positive, he is making himself look super guilty.

yes they can sue Manny. But if there is a sign agreement that said failed drug test means 5 million dollar fine, then that's all they'd get out of him. Therefore they dont want to limit liability.
