    Is Lamont Peterson being overlooked?

Majority of people including myself are predicting a win for Danny Garcia but Peterson is a live dog. If he throws a high output and moves around a lot he can win, just because Matthsse Ko'd him doesn't mean Garcia will as we know triangle theories dont work. Does Peterson stand a chance?

Peterson doesn't know how to box at all, that's been exposed on many occasions. That's how Khan, Bradley, Ortiz and Matthysse got to him early. His success comes through closing the gap and fighting at close quarters.

I like Peterson, I do think people here underrate him but he fights with a lot of nervous energy in the early rounds and as per usual, he might find himself having to climb back into the fight again.

I think most people don't give a Lamont a chance to win because when has he ever won a fight against a live opponent. Every time he steps up he loses but Garcia does tend to perform poorly when he isn't the underdog.

I agree with what you just said but I don't think it's wise to eat too many left hooks from Garcia.

I agree with what you said. I voted Garcia to win and I think he will win but Peterson has a decent chance to win. I would make Danny about a 3 to 1 favorite.

I'll bite - I think Lamont will be very competitive in this fight and expose Garcia's flaws that is the lack of head movement and wide-looping punches. That coupled with "something to prove", he'll surprise people this performance.

I think he is. Lamont isnt a bad fighter and can win IMO. Still favor Danny though
