re watch all floyd fights vs southpaws. .his whole style switches up. he doesn't do pull counters, he doesn't rely much on a shoulder roll.. he walks them all down in a high guard and breaks them down to the body. .floyd zapped judahs energy with body shots. .they need to stop trying to figure out the philly shell, they will not see it.

Indeed, it is how Judah dropped Mayweather and subsequently Floyd abandoned the punch in that fight and generally hasn't used it vs southpaws anyway.
It still works to a degree. Even if you don't touch the abdomen you can still touch his elbow to dissect the guard and setup stuff upstairs oh and btw mayweather got dropped while throwing the right to the body

The "slight change" Mayweather made was more like running & pot-shotting, then grabbing and holding whenever Maidana got close. The audio is deleted in this vid, but it actually allows one to concentrate on the action.

Marquez didn't mind taking 2-3 punches to land his, will Floyd? Marquez paid. Is Floyd willing to pay?

              It is just not Floyd.

Yeah 100 percent hell use high guard cause of mannys right hook. Pull counters work surprisingly well against south paws. I've noticed mayweather doesn't rely on the pull counter with fighters with good jabs (dlh, cotto, Canelo actually neutralized it) but against jmm mosley baldomir he used it to perfection, pacquiao doesn't have a good jab but he'll have to figure out an escape route against a southpaw stance, maybe he can just smother it after he throws it like he did against Judah or roll to his left under pacs right hook.

Ur right man..but Maidana prepared for that, when floyd shot that lead to the midsection, maidana pumped his jab..kept floyds str8 right at hone (maidana1)
