Klitschko's cutman was pretty good in the Lewis fight, even if that does sound silly.

Damn, guesswork here on my part. Makes me feel kind of bad not noticing one of the most underated corner positions. A fighter may only need them for one fight; but when you need 'em, it sure as hell is better to have the best than go without....Tyson in Tokyo in 1990...he sure could have used somebody who knew what the hell they were doing.

Off the Cuff.....(fogive the spelling on all of these)

            1. Aleano
            2. Alcazar
            3. ****....can't think of anymore.

How about educating us and listing some cutmen and the most notable fights they worked in...meaning the ones where the fighter couldn't do without their services....Anyone??

I really want my memory jarred, here.

              Thanks...didn't see that post.

I still go with "The Clot" and Alcazar as my top 2.....course, that could just be because I saw them work more....that, and I love Eddie's nickname.

Oooo!! Chuck Bodak!!! He's #3, I remember who he is, now!! Wait. Scratch Alcazar. He's a trainer who's worked with Bodak. Bodak was the guy I was thinkin of.

              I'm so ashamed.

Bodak, Sousa, "The Clot"...obviously, Arcel I've heard of; but never thought about his cut skills. Stitch I've heard of Gavin and Diaz.

I'm going to have to pay attention more. Diaz is a trainer too, though, isn't he??

Memorable...I will use a recent fight, and since all of these guys or my idols and I watch fights more for the 1 minute between rounds that the 3 minutes of fighting...Vargas would have been done many rounds earlier had it not been for Jacob "Stitch" Duran applying seroius pressure and his infamous bean dip can full of ice...Jacob was trained by both Al Gavin and Chuck Bodak...could you imagine that...
