The weights and the titles not being on the line are of minimal importance if the fight turns out to be great. Your paranoia doesn't mean things are really this way. You have no proof this is Haymon's plan, but are suggesting it to justify your not watching the card.

The Super Bowl analogy fails given the nature of the game. The better analogy, would you watch the Thursday game if both starting QB's were hurt? Me, yes, if I was interested in the game.

So long as you have the same distrust for TR, GBP and anyone else who puts on cards, I have no problem.

I won't watch any non-title, catchweight fight between two title holders in the same division no matter who is putting it on. I think it is a waste of my time. I would not even watch GGG - Cotto if they met at a catchweight with no titles on the line.

If the fight turns out to be great, all the more reason for the titles to have been on the line. What a shame if they are not and all that skill is wasted in the end and not rewarded as it should have been by crowning a unified title holder. But Haymon won't even allow the title belts to be shown on his PBC program so I am not really surprised. I will laugh if Quillin manages to win his title back and not be permitted to hoist it high over his head to celebrate.
