Exactly. Humberto Soto had never been down before fighting Lucas and neither had Ajose. Matthysse loves a good iron chin.
Another thing that could factor in is Matthysse has a reach advantage,against Molina jr and Garcia he woz giving away height and/or reach advantage so he'l be more likely to stay out of range.
Then I guess you want be watching this fight either since Ruslan obviously isn't a "great fighter".
Neither Matthysse or Provodnikov are "great" fighters, but they're more-than-okay fighters who are entertaining to watch. They're better than Gatti/Ward.
