Is there anything in Martinez's history that would lead you to believe that he took a dive? I've watched the fight many, many times. He got clunked on the head 1 minute into the fight and was not the same after that. Unfortunately, on the HBO feed, the ref obscured that punch. I thought he threw a nice jab or two prior to that point...after that, he was not able to do anything.

You're right...it was totally bizarre that Martinez could not land **** the whole fight. But there are explanations for that ... other than taking a dive. Also...if he was taking a dive, how do you explain his exchange with Sarmiento before round 10? You think both of them are that good at acting?

There is one thing about Martinez that leads me to believe he'd do something like that ; The Cotto Fight ! I can't explain anything to u about that fight except to say that it was the worst acting job since Bruce Sheldon vs Mike Tyson .
