How is HBO taking away the Kovalev-Stevenson fight? Reread what you just wrote and use your brain a little.......

You basically just said that Haymon will NOT ALLOW his fighters to fight on HBO.... HBO would make a fight on HBO against a Haymon fighter- Hershman has said this before.

So if Haymon simply refuses to let his fighters fight guys who aren't with Haymon/or on "non-Haymon" networks...... Tell us again how HBO are the ones who are taking away this fight?

Haymon is doing a WWE/UFC type reality show thing and blocking his fighters from fighting non-Haymon fighters (good ones)..... and yet you think it's HBO blocking this fight somehow by resigning a fighter they already had a multi-fight contract with?

Agreed. I think Kov absolutely should sign with HBO and I think Kathy should put in some kind of contingency for a Stevenson fight be it on ppv or NBC.

Although I have no evidence to support this, I would bet HBO did this with Manny relative to the Floyd fight when they paid part of his signing bonus.

I don't see HBO standing in the way of fights that improve their fighter's profile.

Kovalev only mentions it when he's asked about it. It's not even Stevenson he wants most, it's the belt. They plan on getting it before 2015 is out.

Haymon's paying the PBC fighters with investors money, not network money.

HBO and Showtime are still about the only ones paying out real money for fights, and you don't know what SHO can offer.

Who are they going to fight though. All the names I want them to face are with Haymon, and GGG and Canelo will never face each other anytime soon. Kovalev needs the right opponent to make big money, and aside from Stevenson who else is there?

Man I hope Sakio Bika destroys Stevenson, I know Bika would take the Kovalev fight in a heart beat, then this whole mess would be done for. F*** Stevenson and Haymon, how are they going to do a unification with Stevenson fighting on Showtime, this isn't Mayweather vs Pacquiao!
