So you're basically saying that HBO would be willing to make an exception and work with Al Haymon for Golovkin-Quillin.

Do you know where I could find articles proving that Quillin has indeed -recently- received offers to fight Golovkin on HBO? Not that I'm doubting your word, but I would like to read more about this.

They turned it down back in 2012 before the HBO/Haymon beef and before Quillin had the WBO belt.
GGG fought Makoto Fuchigami and Quillin fought Winky Wright a month later.
Last year Quillin and Richard Schaefer were running their mouths about the fight again so K2 called their bluff and sent an offer.
All of a sudden Schaefer wanted to talk about the networks trading fighters. Schaefer wasn't around at GBP much longer after that and we know what Quillin did last year after going the distance with Konecny lol
Quillin does not want it. You people need to follow the situation a little closer.

None of the name fighters above MW want him anytime soon, Chavez, Froch, Ward.

No, I said it was last summer when Quillin was with GBP and held a title. Quillin has no title now and is solely with Haymon so I really doubt he's gotten an offer -recently-

I wonder why Lee vs Quillin isn't on HBO, since any fighter can just fight on any network lol
              (that was sarcasm)

Is a boxingscene article good enough?

Here's a NSB thread about it from last year too:

You missed the point. I'm not debating whether or not Quillin is ducking Golovkin. The question is, would HBO greenlight a fighter advised by Al Haymon today? Apparently, they won't approve Lara. Who is the real problem? Lara or Al Haymon? If Lara is, then the Quillin fight could get made and only Peter it at fault if it doesn't. If Haymon is, then this fight seems improbable, regardless if Quillin wants it or not.

                  • Great thread

Willie Monroe being sold as a good opponent because he's a southpaw who moves

                    Lol

Let's be real-vs ggg, guys who aren't specialised movers end up reverting to moving and find themselves on the ropes .

Of the names in the short list,Turreano Johnson would have been a better fight because he would have tried to push ggg back.

Of course ggg is absolutely loved in nsb and people are excited about seeing willie Monroe being fed to the lions.

I wanna see a fight which I'm unsure about the outcome. This isn't it.

As far as Lara is concerned I couldn't care less about seeing him fight. Don't like his style. He ran vs Canelo. Imagine what he would do vs ggg.
