Why did Donaire only request random testing for Rigondeaux when prior to the he fight he was quoted in saying "I won't make another fighter do random tests to fight me ... I just do the testing to prove that I'm clean" ...

When told Rigo had to take the test or there wouldn't be a fight he nutted up and agreed because he knew it wouldn't matter anyways, he was confident and he was right in the end. He won... Can't say the same for Manny.

the reason goes back in 2005.
there was a video post pac-morales 1 that pac has said that he wont give blood too close to the fight.

the problem is not giving out blood per se, but they cant agree too the cut-off date. eventually pac want 3 weeks cut off and floyd wanted 2.
and dont forget who walk out of the negotiation when the difference in their demands is only 7 days.

I really hate to get into these PED wars again, but here it goes...

At the time, why would Manny have done it? Why should he have? Cause some fighter (who is very good at mind games), tries to play on another fighters fear of needles, and the 6 years circus begins. Floyd had never asked for test on any fighter to that point, not even JMM...

True, Floyd had Random test done to every fighter after JMM, but did he really have a choice? He was cleaning up the sport, remember?

Also true, Pac and his team made the situation worse by accepting, and then backing out. When they should have told him to kick rocks!! If you scared go to church!! Hell he could ride with Manny to service.

Truth is, both of these characters are to blame for the previous 6 years.

Back to the quoted post. some seem to act as if this is Manny first random test. It's not.

I am tired of this cry baby argument because it is documented on video and in article that before the negotiations got started between Mayweather and pacquiao in 2009 Floyd asked for the tests and Roach said it was not a problem and after Floyd would find an excuse not to fight but it was the other way around. I think Manny just thought he was bigger than Mayweather at the time instead of looking at it equally. Pacquiao fans always say "why should Pacquiao agree to Floyd demands when he asked nobody else the same thing?" answer is because that was the biggest fight of his career so why not if you really want it? Now he agreed to the same demands with lesser money. I'm glad the fight is on and Floyd will mop Manny and then everyone will complain like they are now.

Just an observation i have made reading some comments here, floyd fans stick to their guns about floyd winning, pac fans looking for a little wiggle room with them excuses..i still think theyre shook about the fight actually happening and are TERRIFIED!

i've felt the same, it's a shame, but i think it's more because most pacquiao fans actually understand a little boxing and know this will be a tough fight

all floyd's fans seriously know is to blindingly follow, for example, floyd is expected to dominate everyone in their eyes, no matter what you would tell them in the lead up to the maidana fight for instance, "floyd is gonna stick and move, if alexander did it..." etc, same when floyds fans are talking about other fighters, are usually way off, an example is pacquiao, they expect him to dominate everyone, and thus is cherrypicking, against marquez III, only the pacquiao fans had the sense to know that marquez would be dangerous for pacquiao, same thing going into the fourth, where floyds fans thought "now pacquiao will dominate as for real this time, marquez is shot"

they dont seem to realise alot of things, they see marquez has become slow, which just means he must be shot and passed it, but seem unable to pick up on the big strength he's gained in place of some speed, before the maidana fight fighters that came to floyd are there to be eaten alive by floyds epic counterpunching, despite how much you told them that floyd actually struggles with pressure

only now after seeing floyd struggle twice with maidana do they admit "yea, i guess floyd does have that one weakness"
the same with southpaws, they wont admit it until pacquiao beats floyds ass

another is their admittance of floyds opening to the orthodox jab, but are completely unaware as to why, "pacquiao can't beat floyd because he doesn't have a jab" they really dont get it

When Pac was fighting at 130 he was coming in the ring at 145. Now at WW he comes in at around the same. This whole myth that he went up weight over night is tired and ******.

Everyone knows Floyd is a piece of human garbage. He was jealous of Pac, and didn't want to fight, and he has enough ****** fans, so we saw what happened. Pac is an honorable person.

Floyd and his family are drug dealers, junkies, criminals, women beaters and rapists. He is a demon who I pray to Christ, that Pacquiao ends in the ring. All the good and true people will cheer.

An orthodox jab and a southpaw straight left are not the same punch nor are the principles similar if that's what you were getting at.
