I think Duran gets most of his credit because:
1.He dominated LW to the point he was unbeatable at the weight
2.He was supremely skilled, power in both hands and a truly underrated defense
3.He went up and beat a PRIME ATG SRL.
4.Pretty much every fight he had at higher weights he was already out of his prime going toe to toe with ATG fighters.

At first I thought the TS was being an idiot and talking about Roberto Duran but then I seen he meant Kevin Durant.

                You're a moron lol

Name another fighter who beat Sugar Ray in his prime, who is one of the greatest fighters of all time fighting in the most stacked division in the golden era of boxing.

Duran stayed fighting on the highest level boxing for half a century. He beat Iran Barkley-who beat hearns twice and knocked him the **** out- when he was 37 years old after fighting as a pro for 21 years during which he was one of the greatest lightweights of all time.

Must be mad because their hero never took a chance and lost (wait there was the Jose Luis Castillo fight, not to mention Maidana probably won also).
Roberto Duran's record was 72-1 at 135, then he moved up to 147, beat one of the greatest fighters of all time, then beat Davey Moore who was a hot prospect but not ready for Duran, then he goes up to 160 and only loses to Hagler (one of the best middleweight champs ever) by 1 point over 15 rounds (the only fighter to go 15 rounds with Hagler when he was champ).

If that doesn't make you an all time great fighter, what does, Pretty Boy wouldn't even fight Sergio Martinez at 160 (Martinez actually offered to come down as low as 150).
Also I think you mean he beat Davey Moore like he tried to rob him, fight was a one sided beating.

I can't believe what I'm reading! How can so many of you defend the pathetic career of Durant? Now Duran, THAT was a fighter. Durant was a bum though.

he beat Barkley? . It was a close fight, it could've gone either way, and I scored it for Iran.
