Sports has enough political correct aholes as is. Who really wants a fighter to spew repetitive cliche lines in a post fight interview?

Sergey Kovalev was coming off a much more competitive outing than he’d had in recent years, taking some serious return fire from Jean Pascal before scoring an eighth-round technical knockout.

I think Kovalev is cut from a different cloth. He is probably disappointed that Pascal did not kill the referee and come after him.

Sergey did not mean that Jean had no heart in the sense that Jean had no desire to reach deep down and fight through adversity. If anything, Sergey meant that Jean went beyond what is expected from an opponent - beyond a normal fighter. At least that's how I understand it.

Kovalev saying that Pascal has no heart is just Kovalev being the mean crude fighter he is. He does not want to give Pascal any props. Especially since he did some trash talking. Kovalev is just a mean dude with a true take no prisoners mentality.

Kovalev clearly doesn't speak good english. Sometimes he doesn't understand questions and just throws out a response in broken english that makes no sense. Pascal had a ton of heart and would have kept fighting had the ref not intervened. But if Kovalev did have the nerve to say Pascal doesn't have heart then I'd like to see him hit the canvas and be completely punch drunk so that he has an opportunity to display his heart. Bring on Stevenson maybe he can give Krusher that opportunity.

kov has that serial killer aura to him. dude said he let pascal survive just to get some rounds in, i believe him. i think kov should just go to heavyweight with all that damn power. even a missed punch wobbles you, and even though they're same weight he towers over people. real life drago.

Yeah I'd like a rematch as well. I'm sure Kovalev would love another multi million dollar purse all the while getting another opportunity to put Pascal into a deep sleep.
