when i was watching it live i thought it was hilarious when he started to point and luagh when Jean Roidscal was stumbling to the other corner.

I'm just going by the way he still puts a sinister beating on his opponents. I didn't know that. Like I said he seems like a decent guy outside the ring when you are not disrespecting him but inside he seems to enjoy punishing the people brave enough to step in the ring with him.

Yeah, most guys that have really hurt people in the ring and left them with damage like Eubank and Benn did, usually they lose that instinct and willingness to hurt people. Nigel Benn was a savage but he lost what made him a good fighter.

Kovalev, he's in there to hurt you still. That's why this was good stoppage last night. Pascal was in the corner, head down and arms dangling beneath him, why let a guy like Kovalev hurt him badly when he's already done? They're human beings with families doing their jobs, nobody needs to leave that ring seriously hurt if it can be prevented.

he also had a lot of animosity towards sillakh for having a white wife, probably sillakh being the product of a relationship between a white woman and a black man as well. he said sillakh spoke disrespectfully of him going into their fight but that is untrue, sillakh spoke very highly of kovalev as a fighter, person and sportsman. the fighter part i can understand, the rest not so much.


there are different kinds of racists. i dont think he despises blacks in a **** kind way and want all blacks eliminated from the earth. but you dont have to be that extreme in order to be racist. many racists have no problem mixing freely with the people they have racist views of, they just consider them lesser people.

I went to Russia with my ex girlfriend (mixed race black and white), and another couple who was a black guy and white girl. Some Russian guy went up to the black guy who was with us and said "I'd just like to say i don't agree with you being here. Enjoy yourself and have a nice time and enjoy Moscow but i just want to say i don't agree with it"

Absolutely bizarre. It was the most polite casual racism i've ever heard.
