The sooner he gets to the end the better for us. ***in duck.
Is Stevenson kind of at the end of the road here?

The guy is about 40 years old in a weak ass division where either he or Kovalev are the best guys so he either A. loses to one of these mando or obscure opponents or becomes obscure by winning fights no ones cares about B. fights Kovalev and wins becoming the man C. Loses to Kovalev and becomes just another guy at LHW like Pascal was before this fight before he retires in a couple years.
Don't see such a great future progression for him at this point.Comment

Sanctioning bodies don't care about networks. They order a mandatory defense and it's up to the fighters to work out the logistics and get it done.Comment

If Duva really wants to make the fight then Kovalev will fight Stevenson, ain't no mandatory getting in the way of that fight.Comment

Kovalev is the one acting like a true champion and fighting the best in Hopkins and Pascal and willing and eager to fight Stevenson. As long as Stevenson ducks Kovalev he will be considered below Kovalev regardless of him being the lineal champion. I am sure Kovalev would beat Stevenson but Stevenson's speed and power give him a chance to win. It looks like he will continue to avoid a fight with Kovalev.Comment

I know I just took it back one more fight. I didn't think much of that Russian either. Same goes for Bika. Bika has fought some big names in his career but he shouldn't be in the same ring with someone like Stevenson.Comment
