Beterbiev just signed his career over to Haymon and has more upside than Stevenson, I don't think we'll see this fight for a few years.

“When I fought Sergey Kovalev in semi-finals (of the Russian National championship), my heart was already set on the fight with the captain of the Russian team, (Evgeny) Makarenko, in finals,” explained Beterbiev. “My goal was set at that time. I had to beat Makarenko and to do that had to defeat Kovalev, which I did (smiles).”

He had a fierce reputation as one of the biggest knockout artists in the amateur sport, best illustrated by stoppages of Sillakh and Siju Shabazz. "

He aready had conquered all three belts - just one remaining held by Adonis.

But we know Adonis is gonna hide his female-beating wannabe pimp ass behind Haymon and co...

Fight won't happen - not unless Kovalev agrees to give up a huge chunk of the purse.

What should be a 50/50 purse split for a fight that networks would likely pay 3ish million for, Stevenson will demand 2 million of the purse, or something tidiculous like that.

He's a coward - scared to death of Kovalev.

And he got on his knees and thanked all the old Gods, and the new Gods, when Beterviev signed with Haymon, meaning he won't have to fight him either.

Kubrat Pulev? Are you sure you aren't thinking about Pulev's brother Tervel, who is 6ft 1 and is a career amateur heavy (would be pro cruiserweight)?

As for Beterbiev beating Kovalev...it really means very little. The amatuers are not really a barometer of comparing or predicting fights in the pros. It's a different game. It perhaps shows Beterbiev is capable of beating Kovalev, but doesn't mean he'd be favourite now, as it's safe to assume Kovalev has greatly improved.

Stev v Kov is THE fight of the LHW division.
