Honestly I would argue that Kovalev is light years ahead of Pascal, Campillo, and Cleverly as well, so I don't think RJJ would have it easy with Kovalev, Kovalev is too technical, too intelligent, and too dangerous in every possible way, I see the fight materializing like Naseem/Barrerra.

      FAR better.

So yeah, it makes sense to think of Roy as the better fighter.

NSB jizzes every time a puncher comes around.

Comon son. It's disrespect to call Kovalev a puncher, he is a master boxer, and I love Matthysse but you can't compare the two fighters at all.

                Put it like this.

Kovalev beats the same Roy Jones that Tarver fought in Jones Vs Tarver 2 and Jones Vs Tarver 3.

Anytime before that, easy night for Jones.

Kovalev is a beast, Roy was also a beast, I think we remember Roy by his current state.
Roy had the hand speed, foot speed, defense, stamina, reflexes.
                Pretty much the whole package

While that's true, Kovalev is also the complete package, he isn't as athletic, but he has more power. RJJ might get stopped in the late rounds.

Krusher Kovalev vs Roy Jones Jnr prime vs prime who takes it?

This would be an absolute dream fight for me. Couldn't get any better than this in terms of quality of fight.

I'd say KOvalev would hurt Roy once, expose the glass, and his killer instinct would take over, getting the championship round stoppage. Either that or Roy wins 7-5 8-4 in rounds. Though it is impossible to say one way or the other really because Kova has not shown any signs of being outboxed really.

Dream fight? Kovalev is a beassst but a prime Roy Jones sparks him out in 5-6.
