neither should be in the top 10.

golovkin is a top 5 p4p fighter in terms of ability but he is yet to prove it. kovalevs resume is better but not good enough and his ability is far inferior, he simply isnt among the 10 best fighters in the world.

Yeah I can understand and I agree but sadly he is with a promoter that doesn't have the Power to make him a bigger star than he is now. If he choose to continue to be Loyal to Duva and Main Events then respect to him, if he decided to leave Duva to finally cash in and make the big Money then I would understand that as well. The fact that the Champ had to travel to fight Pascal is proof that she really can't generation him a big Payday on his own in the US which is UNFORTUNATE! Also lets be honest...HE IS RUSSIAN, trying to make him a star in the US right now giving the issues with US and Russia will also make things extremely Difficult

I'm American, I like the guy! He is fun to watch but not everybody is as opened minded and can put that Political BS aside and enjoy that man talents. GGG gets more love and HYPE from HBO IMO because GGG IS NOT RUSSIAN!

Also too, it is some Eastern Europe guys who hate all American fighters on this forum so the dislike seems MUTUAL!

But for some insane reason, Ward's fans still insist that he is the A side of each and every fight. How can he be the A side when he needs someone else to make the fight financially viable? If Ward is the A side, then he should be the one bringing the money to the fight, he should be the one bringing the fans, he should be the one who lifts the fight to PPV level event status.

I actually believe Ward is the B Side in a fight vs GGG. The only way he becomes an A Side is in a rematch with GGG after he beats him.

Cotto is an old fart. He needs to man up and fight GGG.

GGG vs Ward must be on PPV. And for that to be successful, we need to rely on GGG becoming a ppv star.

And Ward beats GGG on the big PPV Stage.

Well first of all you aren't going to have a PPV out of Oakland so Ward would have to be willing to fight elsewhere. Second of all, Ward will not have control over the officials so his holding, clinching and head butting will lead to points being removed. Third: GGG will KTFO Ward in under 8 rounds.

Finally... why should GGG even bother fighting Ward when Ward brings nothing at all to the dance? Ward does not make it PPV, Ward does not attract fans, Ward will most likely not even have a title when and if they finally fight. GGG will have much more lucrative options than fighting a washed up, boring fighter like Ward. GGG has no need of Andre Ward at all. Ward needs GGG to become relevant in the sport again or he needs to move up to 175 which he should have done years ago. IF he had been fighting of course.

When was the last time Stevenson was interviewed? Kovalev has basically taken everyone on his wish list to fight.

Ward fought Froch in Atlantic City. I expect GGG vs Ward to happen in Vegas.
