Exposed? What do you mean? Exposed as granite? That would be it.

He's definelty got a decent chin but I'm not sold on this iron chin nonsense I'm hearing from some fans. He was clearly shook a few times and even admitted in the post fight interview he was hurt bad but kept going. I think that's a testament to his heart more than his chin.
Off topic, I saw your sig say RIP Walt and I thought Walt who? Liquor? That's sad he passed what happened I remember he wrote a lot of drinking posts in the lounge. Funny guy.Comment

I didn't notice Kovalev being hurt at all and he did take a couple of very big right hands. He's definelty got a decent chin but I'm not sold on this iron chin nonsense I'm hearing from some fans. Yes that's Walt Liquor. He sadly passed away last year. There's a thread about it in the lounge.Comment

The only thing that was "exposed" was that he's vulnerable to getting countered. And if you watch, after a while he adjusted and managed to slip those counter shots.
He's there to be hit but I didn't see anything to indicate he can't take a good punch.Comment

Exposed would be a very strong word, like Kovalev exposed a lot of holes in Pascal's Roy Jones like defense.
How Kovalev ended up responding is the impressive thing, proving he is a lot more than a bully or a front runner. So he really proved a lot against a very solid and determined guy.
I still think Kovalev can get hurt though, but he is also a guy that hurts people so it is easier said than done.Comment
