They landed a similarly mediocre amount of punches on paper (Glazkov 144, Cunningham 180) with a similar percentage (Glazkov 33%, Cunningham 28%).
Cunningham waved his arms around a bit more and punched glove/chest look busy. Glazkov landed harder on average but seemed lethargic and reluctant. Those decisions are almost always controversial.
And it's a moot point because neither guy has any real chance of beating the champ and will spend the remainder of their career in similar fights.
after the pulev fight these guys moved up. Glazkov beat adamek & Cunningham beat Mansour for a regional belt. They were the next highest rated guys who were not busy. I was thinking that the winner no matter who it was is going to take a beating...
Mansour and Adamek shouldn't be competing in semi eliminations I guess then, I just can not get over the fact guys like these two or guys like Chisora are competing in final elimination bouts. Has the division stooped this low, really ?
