We are talking about a welter that is a huge jr welter vs a lightweight moving to jr welter

This fight will really prove if crawford is p4p legit
True but Crawford has fought at 154 before, he schooled Prescott.

I don't know why people keep bringing up Crawford getting rocked by Gamboa. Like, that happened one time and it was later in the fight. It shouldn't be used as an indication that he's going to get KO'd. This is boxing. People get rocked all the time.

Difference is Broner against quality opposition showed glaring flaws where as Crawford has RISEN in ability whenever he has faced adversity. The guy has shown THE most important attribute in boxing...the ability to adjust to your opponent and come out on top.

Errol doesn't even have time to be FOTD lol. He won't even become champ until the end of this year/first quarter of next year.

I rate Crawford very highly, but this decade is at the half way mark. You think he will clean out light welter (I think he probably will) then dominate at welter( that may be a bit more tricky) in the next 5 years.

That is the type of feat he will have to do do achieve that.

No, the difference is Crawford is dedicated to the sport and respect it.
Crawfoard has so much more to the game, he can box, and he can fight, he will adjust and fight the best way to defeat his opponent.

              Broner just has one setting.

Probably, still not sold on Crawford and I see tendencies that can be exposed.

He's already had one FOTY year last year. 140 should be no issues for him. 147 is where his real ability will shine. There are some KILLERS in that division now and on the way up.

I agree. If he comes through that there is no argument. But that welterweight division is heating up nicely, lots of different styles to deal with all tough.
