The OP asked a straight question comparing Pacquiao to Maidana. And Chris Algeri? Really?

Maidana has a much heavier punch. Sledgehammer effect. Better 1 punch KO power. But he has no accuracy. Pacquiao knocks you out when he catches you right. Check Cotto and Hatton. Floyd will not allow that. But he could still get busted up.

I've never been punched by either, but Maidana's look like they have more blunt, while Pac's are sharper, papercuts with a snap. Pac is more likely to cut that flesh. I do agree, though, that if Pac loads up, he probably hits harder.

The op asked a simple question, but its funny the lengths that guys here will go to, in order to *wrongly* answer Pac (despite him not knocking out ANY legitimate welterweight). Kendall Holt dropped Bradley twice (iirc), at his best weight, with single shots. If Pac is such a great puncher, why couldn't he dent Bradley?
