I'll take their word for it over yours.

Anyway, to answer the original question, i would say Maidana has more single punch power but of course doesn't have the speed or accumulation of punches Pacquiao does.
You left out that Oscar said Pacman never hurt him and that Floyd actually stunned him a bit with an uppercut in their fight, Oscar said that they hit about even and said that Floyd hits harder only because he rocked him or hurt him a bit.

Also Mosley said Floyd and Canelo hit the same, and Canelo hits 10 times harder than Pacquiao.

The only reason he knocked out HAtton was because he finally loaded up a punch maidana style, at 126 and below Pac was a good hard puncher he had real power at 122. But he has no power at 147 he has to throw the perfect shot to hurt you. Its because the guys he fights now are so much bigger than hiim.

This fight will come down to Chin, floyd has an iron chin and Pac has glass.

but dont be surprised if Floyd knocks Pac out with a jab to the pit of the stomach like he did to that ole boy with the mullet.

I think Mayweather probably has more power than people think but the fact is that he never sits down on his punches and is safety first so the reality is that on May 2nd, he will be his usual defensive self and probably win a UD. He's not knocking anybody out. Not because he can't, just because he will always take the safety first approach.

That hit his face or forehead. If that was on the chin he would've been out for sure.

Maidana has more brute force power then manny but Maidana is only going to be able to land on you one at a time, pacquaio will land a 4 punch combo on your ass and lay you out.

It was actually right on the chin. That would have knocked a lot of people.

I'll say Maidana but it's irrelevant to the fight on May 2nd. There are things Maidana did to Mayweather that Pacquiao won't be able to do and there are things Pacquiao will do that Maidana couldn't. If you look at the last 3 fighters for each of them I would say Mayweather has been a little bit more tested in preparation for this fight.

Pacquiao's punching power consists in volume/time rather than single punch power.

Of course he got a solid strong punch (ask hatton or cotto..), but the thing is that he doesn't hit you with one punch he trows a full 1-2-3-4 combination in half second from a position you don't expect or while jumping around you like a squirrel.

Pac just knocked Algieri all around the ring in his last fight and we're questioning his power?
