Good rule, but rather than 10lbs I would have 5% of the weight class they are fighting in at a weigh in 12 hours before the fight.

This is interesting. Do you know where I could find some information about this subject?

Pascal has the power to stop him, but whether he can land the shot or not is a different matter.

Kovalev has very unrated boxing skills

I think if someone is capable of putting on 15-20lb's after a weigh in e.g. JCCjr, then they're clearly draining themselves too much to make the weight in the first place. I think they should be allowed to put on whatever weight they like over night. It's another dimension to a fight which is massively misunderstood by a casual fan - cutting to make weight is a very intricate process of balancing diet and training so as to not come in overweight, but to also not cut too much to the point where you can't compete at your best.

Let em weigh what they want after the weigh in!

I disagree .. It means one of two thing to me .. One if you're putting on 15 to 20 pound after weigh ins and you're killing yourself to make weight .. Then you should not be fighting at that weight.
Second it also means the fighters is more then likely not living a clean life style. If a fighter's weight class 130 and he/she is walking around at 150 or even 160 then you should consider two option 1) start conducting yourself better and watching your diet 2) move to a bigger weight class.

I personally feel its not fair to the fighter that maintain their weight between fights and stay in shape, just to have fight some guy who does the opposite and shows up in the ring 20lb over the weight limit. carrying an additional 20 over your opponent is clearly un-fair advantage.
