Whenever Mayweather sr is the trainer, Floyd runs.

Mayweather sr is all about moving like Ali, his favorite fighter. Floyd will run. See his fight vs guerrero, Floyd looked like a track star.

38 year old legs aren't always reliable.

I think Floyd still has his legs, and I expect him to play it very safe against Pacquiao. He was already kind of hinting that way during the interview after the press conference; he was asked if we might see him stand a little more toe-to-toe the way he did against Maidana the first time and Floyd was like, "all I can say is we WILL have a great gameplan on that night," i.e. no. So it remains to be seen if Manny's speed can keep up. Personally I love watching Floyd when he stands his ground and still shows off his defense; not as big a fan of the constant movement.

I really hope Floyd doesn't make "The Fight of the Century" a boring fight . If he does decide to run the whole night boxing's future will be ***ed for awhile. The hype for this fight is unbelievable. Casuals think this is gonna be some Hagler-Hearns type ****

When he goes on bike mode he's nearly unhittable but he also misses a hell of a lot more, still I think it's his best chance vs Pac. If he can do that at 38.

I can almost guarentee he won't fight flat footed vs Pac, but Pacs pretty fast on his feet as well so it should be good.

People are using the argument that Floyd makes adjustments and figures opponents out, but it's easy to do that when you have a speed advantage. This time around will be truly interesting

This, I don't like Mayweather but if he wins by knockout (doubt it, guy is safety first, he has said it himself) I will be pretty happy. Will give boxing a big boost, because people are not generally interested in boxing matches they are interested in fights.

Any game plan involving Floyd standing within range of Pacquiaos straight left is a bad one. Marquez did figure out some feints and things to keep Pacquiao from landing it consistently, but he mainly did it with offense. The straight left knocked JMM on his ass 3 times in the first round when they met the first time. It's a very fast shot. Floyd will have to make some adjustments real damn fast.

I think Floyd will get on his bike 100% and tire Manny out, score points late.

Although both have them have faded equally, Pacquiao is the one who will have to work harder, he's the aggressor due to the reach disadvantage.
