Monroe is a good mover/boxer, athletic, fast hands and feet. People keep saying GGG can't handle that and then complain when we get him against this styled fighter.

Sure GGG is heavily favored to win and Monroe probably doesn't have the power to deter him from coming forward but could be interesting to see how he handles a guy who is not just naturally going to play into his game making it harder for GGG to just place him in the ring where he wants him.

It shows nothing of the sort. There are two title fights signed and waiting to happen with a third champion waiting for an opponent, PLUS GGG making his second defense of the year. That is a sign of a very busy middleweight division where things are slowly being worked out. If GGG only fought twice a year no one would have a thing to say right now. People would be waiting for the title fights and discussing which winner might be defending against GGG later this year.

But GGG happens to be a true fighting champion, ready and willing to give a title shot to anyone willing to step in the ring with him. But no one wants that these days, they would prefer to have champions who duck everyone and only fight once or twice a year. People need to have higher standards and demand that their favourite boxers fight more often. Then maybe GGG would have some better opposition to fight.

If the ATGs who people love to use as a standard to measure every fighter by were to have fought by those rules, they would never have become ATGs in the first place.

There is no logical reason for GGG to move between weight classes for anything other than a PPV fight. It would put his health and future conditioning at risk and would be a foolish thing to do just to make a handful of loud mouthed people who are not even fans happy.

The double standard is sickening, cotto just got to the weight, a bunch of people question his win against martinez and wanna see cotto fight the biggest baddest dude in the division. No cotto cant get a fight or two under his belt before fighting GGG but its ok for GGG to pick on fringe contenders. You and the rest of these guys defending GGGs next fight would be the same guys bashing Cotto if he would have chosen this guy.

I like how you conveniently skipped over the 3 highly ranked middleweights that i listed. Like i said to another poster, cotto just got to the weight and deserves 1 or 2 more fights before he faces GGG if you dont think thats fair then you shouldnt defend GGG taking fights against fringe contenders. Like i said before if Cotto chose to fight this guy all the people defending GGG would be tearing up cotto, double standard. If this fight is good enough for GGG then an equivalent fight is good enough for cotto.

Cotto won a title. What's the issue with not fighting other belt holders?

All the people giving GGG a pass I will expect them to do the same when Cotto's opponent is announced, we'll see.
Lemiuex and N'Dam are fighting for the IBF belt. It has been agreed to by both sides. GYM is filing a lawsuit against Lemieux and GoldenBoy as well. Who knows when that fight will happen? Both of theose guys are busy.
Saunders is fighting in April and waiting on the Lee v Quillin winner.
                      Got any other suggestions? lol
