While out of context, you brought up Roach and what he stated. So if you brought up that quote, I just gave you another one that is more recent and what Roach said about the future May 2nd fight, not something that we will never know now.

Pac is going to feel very comfortable with it, and May has been brittle fisted for years. Don't be a fanboy, kept it real.

Manny is going relish in May coming towards him. In order to win May is going to have to come towards him, or baits manny into winnable spats. He can't fight with Manny. Mannys workrate and speed is going to make this a pretty clear cut fight. Mannys flashy, excessive and reckless combos dazzle the judges (ask Marquez). I don't see May out working manny. And, again he doesn't have the power to make manny all of a sudden gun shy.

Do you guys really think May has more pop than Rios, Marquez, or even Bradley at this point?

Mayweather made Mosley, Canelo and Maidana at times in the second fight gun shy but he can't do it to Manny? Floyd is going to treat Manny like the smaller fighter that he is. Manny is not an aggressive fighter and doesn't apply pressure. Floyd will have time to time him as Pacquiao comes in lunging. I don't understand people saying Mayweather can't handle Pacquiao's speed but Marquez and Bradley did. Mayweather is also fast and accurate. I believe he will nullify Manny's aggression with well place shots. Obly way Manny has success is if Floyd lays on the ropes and lets Manny get off.

You are also generalizing your statement based on something you read. Everyone that I spoke to do not even see any controversy in fight #3. It was just Marquez being Marquez (thinks he beat Bradley too) and you all fall for that for different reasons. If that was a fight with Floyd, you would have said differently. Show me a fight where Manny was gunshy. This guy boxes like he will die in the ring unlike some boxers. Even when is winning the fight easily he is still going after it in the later rounds rather than dance around the ring.

3rd Pacquiao/Marquez he was a lil leary. 2nd Marquez fight he was a lil hesitant at times also. He needs his opponents to be aggressive to be the most effective. When an opponent sits back and waits for him to make a move he does not throw punches immediately. Pacquiao is a punching machine but he can be nullified with a jab and some body work.

There was more than just an article that Floyd lost to Castillo. HBO commentators were declaring that he lost in the final minute of the fight. That was how convinced they were. Including their resident judge Lederman.

At the fight, there were many Marquez fans. They were the ones who threw bottles ...... so thanks for the laugh.


As for the Maidana 1 fight, it was closer in my eyes than the Marquez #3 fight. One judge agreed by giving it a draw. Not sure how the other 2 judges gave the early rounds to Floyd. That didn't make any sense.

Honestly, Marquez #3 was easy to score. Marquez lost it in the championship rounds where he was told to take no risks ..... bad move.
