There's no doubt that he will get hit hard by kovalov, win or lose. I have not seen that many of his fights however and so I wonder about his durability. How good is his chin and has he ever been knocked down?
Pascal's chin

Solid chin. Been hurt a few times but never been knocked down officially, I don't think, although in the Hopkins rematch one could've been called when he was hurt/fatigued and slipped down. -
solid but not great. he has been hurt by lesser punchers than kovalev but never closed to finished by anyone. the issue with pascal is mental imo, he is very talented and like some talented fighters he has the attitude of a bully inside the ring. when things dont go his way he usually folds, he is a proud man and never quits but he does give up on winning. he got away with is because guys like hopkins allows opponents to survive once he broke them mentally, but as we all know they are seldom the same afterwards. im more concerned about how pascal will react mentally once he feels kovalevs power if he doesnt take kovalev out himself in the early rounds.Comment

His chin is very solid.
He's never been down and only buzzed a couple of times. Watch his war with Carl Froch, both guys stood up to 12 rounds of an absolute war and spent the entire fight exchanging bombs...you need a very solid chin to survive that.Comment

If Chad Dawson didn't get cut he would have finished Pascal. That was one of the luckiest breaks I've ever seen in boxing.
He's got a decent chin, but he's never been hit by a guy like Kovalev before.Comment

I used to feel that way because inside I wanted chad to win but I doubt it man he couldn't enen capitalize of that uppercut I remember when pascal took it to look like he **** himself and Dawson just stood there liked her never seen a man hurt.Comment

This is true. You don't try to war with froch unless you have a good chin. But I still think kovalev will badly outclass him. Seeing how he handled hopkins I can't see pascal winningComment
