Wasn't gonna watch this because these 2 guys tire me out! But man, did Manny ever work up Stephen Smith! So beating Floyd is good for boxing because being undefeated has gotten to his head. Fair enough. But it looks like Manny was in a mood to say anything to drive Stephen A Smith batty!

My goodness we need more of these! Yes we know they fight doesn't need more hype because it sells itself. But good gracious can't we boxing fans get more fun out of something like this, build it up for the fans. There are other ways to hype it without shelving more money like this. There are en****** out there that would interview them for free for goodness sake. Do it for the fans! more of these please, just for fun!

My thoughts exactly, ButtScratcher. This will draw even more interest in the fight.

Manny should up the trash talking even if it's in jest. He could say "I'm going to hit him so hard his ancestors will feel it" or something to that effect.

More viewers will gravitate to these interviews.

Floyd can sell a fight if the spitlight shines on him. But with an opponent who also does some trash talking, things get more interesting.

Guess everybody's already seen what happened to trash talkers who face Floyd in the ring and prefer to tone it down for fear of embarrassment.

When he's calm, and speaks somewhat normally (somewhat normally is the best he can do), the dude can be really insightful.

But when he gets into these zones where all he does is f**king scream and repeat the same **** over and over -- it's just unwatchable.

Smith has no tact whatsoever, unless it comes to issues that he's fighting for. The guy is class A clown. God forbid Lebron James tore his ACL. He'd be on that show crying, and telling people to stop being so "DISRESPECTUFL!", like he always likes to say, but the guy's sitting there making fun of a guy that's been nothing but kind, and playful with him on that show, and has the nerve to mock him, and laugh about it. Really???

Bayless is pretty much the same.
I agree, they both are. Smith was mocking Guerrero for losing to Thurman and he put up a hell of a fight. When Floyd-Pac was finally signed I thought they were going to give some educated breakdowns of the fight and all it was about was Skip mocking Floyd and Stephen mocking Pac. I mean the fight everyone's been waiting to see is finally signed and you're disrespecting the fighters like some 5 year olds. Its painful to watch sometimes.

And that "KO" doesn't even count.
