Besides, the quality of the fights ultimately are what matter to me. That is what will make me watch or not watch.
What exactly is the point of bringing in more fans? It doesn't improve the fights.

Casual fans seem attracted to that type of spectacle. Besides, the quality of the fights should take care of themselves. First card had one dull fight and one very good one. Nothing to complain about.

Doesn't answer the question. What does bringing in more fans exactly do? How does it benefit boxing?

If its succesful he can attract some fighters that are with other promoters and make some fights that would otherwise be difficult to make.

what do you mean how does it not help boxing of course it helps boxing more money for bigger purses causes bigger fights i dont see how you could really even argue more fans is better. I know some you like the small community like the punk rock kid in high school who dont want anyone else to like his music but bringing boxing to the masses is a great thing. I understand people hate haymon but if the guy is making the sport better for fans who gives a **** and so far so good.

If more people tune in, it should lead to a bigger investment in the program, which should result in better quality fights on TV, no different than HBO with BAD.

Boxing benefits because there is more programming available, which will need to be filled. This gives more fighters critical TV time for younger fighters. If the sport returns to the mainstream, this should attract more "athletes" to the sport as it did when boxing was bigger.

Having a wider pool of good fighters should mean more quality fighters and fights, which improves the product we see on TV. Its all cyclical.

They forget, the more popular boxing becomes, by default better and more fighters will most likely be produced. The less popular boxing is, the more the competition drops and the more the number of quality fighters drop. Which is what we see today versus the past eras.

Not to even mention that professional boxing is a business.
