Just let the commission do their job.

A pac fan once told me, until a fighter has tested positive, no need for testing.

I'm sure many top fighters including Pacquiao, Marquez, and Mayweather have experimented at one time or another with performance enhancers.

If Baseball players were on them for god sakes, imagine a sport where your body takes a physical beating, you're having to cut weight, go up in weight, and recover from injury. I'm sure at one point all fighters looked into taking substances.

      Anyone thinking otherwise is naive.

I disagree, after being told thoroughly from 2009 - 2011, I refuse to believe Pacquiao is on steroids or have ever been on any.

He's a man of god I was told.

See this is the stuff I have a problem with...with all due respect for Freddie Roach but just like a lot of fans on this forum, they only care about FAIR when their fighter is possibly at the end of the "CHEATED STICK"

At first Roach and team Pacquiao said NSAC Testing Is Good Enough, one gets knocked out by JMM and now all of a sudden everybody wants better testing...something they refused to do themselves a few years back?

It is like cycling, everyone has to cheat because there was absolutely no chance at all of someone who doesn't cheat get in the top 50 in the world.

As testing gets better, people will find more ways to cheat the system. Thats not to say we shouldn't try to catch these guys out but as people start adopting VADA, USADA etc. they are still already years behind the best cheaters in sport.

There is so much PED usage they might a well legalize it. Free for all of PED use. The better PED abuser wins. That way we all know everyone is loaded on something and we don't have to worry about *****ty performances in the ring, lol.

PEDs...the elephant, or rather, the HORSE in the room.

Roach is part of the problem. If anyone remembers James Toney, you know what I'm talking about.

It would be refreshing if people could actually address the point of the thread, which is the apparent 180 Freddie Roach did on more stringent testing in sport of boxing. He wouldn't be the first to show himself up to be a hypocrite. Remember Mayweather's stance on catchweights.... only to turn around and use one himself? Boxing is like that. But what is rare, is people's ability to face it like an adult and speak the truth of what's happened. Freddie Roach and other members of Team Pacquiao were against the idea of more stringent testing. So much so that they were prepared to walk from the biggest fight of modern times. Now..... Roach is stating things that makes that former stance implausible. You have to ask two things:

"If you really believe this now, why didn't you before"?

and "If you didn't think this before, why the change"?
