One is no better than the other because all they do is take samples and send them for results to the same exact UCLA lab. The main key difference is in cost, VADA is cheaper. But VADA is cheaper because they take samples less frequently, meaning they don't have to pay for as many samples which cuts cost significantly.

Yes, they can still catch cheaters because it is still random drug testing. The process is still random and the athlete has no idea when they will come. But they do take less samples, so they don't have to pay for as many samples and can offer their program to athletes that don't have big pockets. It's a smart tactic and has it's purpose and place.

If they did took more samples, a lot of other boxers that aren't getting huge paydays won't be able to afford it. You don't realise how expensive this stuff is. VADA's Founder even admitted that when they first began, the organisation lost a lot of money.
