WBA World Lightweight title challenger Derry Mathews says his radar is now locked on deadly Cuban World Champion Richar Abril on Saturday 18th April at the Liverpool Echo Arena.
Mathews destroyed Hungarian Gyorgy Mizsei Jnr. with a massive right hand in the fifth round last Friday night at the Echo Arena to clear the path for his dream world title showdown against Abril.
Although Abril is leagues above Mizsei, dynamite punching Mathews, who’s KO’d 20 out of his 37 wins, showed that he’s armed and ready for the biggest night of his life.
