Nope, they are excuses. I can make a list to why Canelo lost to May, but I don't want to sound like a whiny b1tch, and I wouldn't believe it anyways. I don't believe in excuses and Cotto never avenged his defeat so.... yeah.

They can be both excuses and facts at the same time. Let's see a list of why Canelo lost to Floyd. The only real answer is because he's not good enough. 12-0, or at best 11-1 is just a reflection of the talent gap.

Sorry canelo fans. His streak of looking horrible in fights continues and he gets ko'd this time. Trout was a controversial win. Laura was also. The floyd fight made him look extremely amateur at best. And angulo was prepared for a pro wrestling match that day with his fake punches.

Canelo beat Trout whereas Cotto got outclassed by him.
Who doesnt lose to Floyd? Cotto did too and got handled badly on the fringe of being knocked out. Canelo was just boxed to death.
He beat a credible fighter in Lara (115-113) with a tough style who had owned Trout the fight before.
Couldnt put Angulo away? Did you see the fight? He was tagging him all night. Who cares if he quit or if the referee stopped it. You bring that fight up as if it was something negative about Canelo lol.

A lose to Trout, a win over FNF hall of famer Delvin, and win over una-rodilla Sergio is mediocre at best.
