I would agree. I think he also has to mix up how he fights after certain rounds. I would target the 4th, 9th, and 11th rounds to change how I was fighting to keep Floyd off balance.
Depends on what Floyd we get. If its the Maidana 1 or 2 Floyd, Manny has a strong chance to win. If Floyd has another "canelo night" left in him, and he has it on May 2nd, Manny is in trouble.Comment

stop telling lies.. it took marquez one round to figure manny out.. starting from round two of fight 1 he was countering him at will.. manny never adjusted to the right hand..never! in four fights..the guy is not a thinker, hes a fighter that works off instinct, if he tries to box floyd hes getting embarrassed. even algieri was landing lead rights
how can a fighter at his level with the 7time trainer of the year never figure out how to avoid one punch.. name one punch that floyd is constantly hit with..Comment

Realistically I think we are going to see Floyd take the fight to the inside and batter Manny's body. Manny can't fight inside for pennies and Floyd is very good and can **** with the best of them.
With his lack of a size advantage I don't see him being able to muscle Floyd around like Cotto, Maidana, or even Hatton was able to do. Floyd will for sure be stronger than him and carry greater punching power. The way that Floyd almost dropped Cotto despite throwing less than half the number of punches Cotto did is very revealing about how Floyd is. He even rocked Ghost with a hook in a fight he barely threw any punches in.
That being said, if Manny stays outside and shoots in, he has the best chance of winning because his speed allows him to cover distance very very fast. He could realistically outscore Floyd this way, he will just have to avoid those stiff jabs and right hands on his way in.Comment

No need in comparing an offensive boxer with a defensive one, if Floyd threw punches like Manny he would get hit too. Not every boxer is a defensive boxer.stop telling lies.. it took marquez one round to figure manny out.. starting from round two of fight 1 he was countering him at will.. manny never adjusted to the right hand..never! in four fights..the guy is not a thinker, hes a fighter that works off instinct, if he tries to box floyd hes getting embarrassed. even algieri was landing lead rights

Really think Pac needs to be at controlled aggression the first 7 or 8 rounds. He needs to throw 3 to 4 punch combos at angles and throw more body punches than normal. Mayweather likes to control pace with feints and space. Pac needs to be in pocket not up close to smother punches or too far out to get outpointed. Mayweather when he gets in close does a good job of placing body punches. He also likes to rough it up a little with forearm to face and throat. Pac must immediately get rough back , hit him on hips , low etc. It is boxing folks don't get carried away Mayweather gets away with it every fight. Pac needs to throw alot of jabs to body and head, and straight lefts to body and solar plexes. Mayweather dominates with feints and is one of the most accurate counter punchers in the world. Pac must make him feel uncomfortable with anlges and foot quickness to get to those angles. It is like a chess match at high speed. interesting to watch. I just hope it is not slow and both guys posing. I would love to see Pac swarm him from the get go.Comment
