bigjavi973 Cotto's manager has been lying from day 1. Again the entire time he kept saying we are trying to make the Canelo fight but wasn't even returning phone calls and telling Oscar we have to think about it letting weeks and months go by. After Golden Boy agreed to his demands they never came back and said you are offering this number but we need this number instead. Oscar, Todd both said Cotto and his team were just blowing them off and stalling. At the time everyone assumed Haymon got in his ear and he was just waiting for Mayweather to sign first. But now we know the reason he never said yes to the Canelo deal or even suggested a counter offer amount is because he didn't want the fight he was working on a Roc Nation deal the entire time. So him and his manager were both lying. You can hate Arum and still admit Cotto and his manager were full of crap these last months. lolComment

You can clearly see why haymon was doing that. Mainly to keep those types of fights for his PBC. (yea it was f^cked up and I didn't like it, f^ck haymon). either way.... just yesterday an article came out with Gaby Peñagarícano saying that HBO & Showtime would like cottos fights and that ODH would still work with them and even Haymon has some guys he wants cotto to fight with. Why do people keep b^tching about martinez? Martinez was supposed to win the fight! What? Ya forgot ya kept calling cotto a shot, blown up welterweight? HAHAHAHAHAHA

We have humored these no life peasants in this thread to say the least. All of a sudden, every peasant who claims to be a fan of the sport, is ALL about Bob Arum's feelings. Nothing but a smokescreen for their hate. Their hero was exposed for the Ephedra tea sippin in the dressing room, plaster wrap needing peasant that he so clearly was. We can't expect them to be happy for Cotto.

Lets just clear sh^t up. Yes ODH said that they will move the dates of the canelo fight, IF the floyd-pac fight gets done. Thats IF. So lets say for example, that floyd DIDN'T fight pacquiao and cotto-canelo was signed. Do you honestly think that cotto would "compete" with floyd for the cinco de mayo weekend date??? No! Cuz that will not MAXIMIZE cottos $$$. Why would cotto fight on the same day of a floyd ppv, unless its him vs floyd. Its called common sense.Comment
