I don't care that Cotto left but he wasn't professional and burned a lot of bridges in the process. His manager did so many interviews talking about negotiations with Canelo and that was obviously a lie. Cotto had no interest in making that fight. He was working on this Roc deal the entire time. Could of just manned up and told Top Rank and told Golden Boy.

I agree, he presents himself as a guy with high morals,but in reality he's just a fraud.After two beat downs and his career in ruins he ran back to Arum with his tail between his legs,was spoon fed and nurtured back to health.Some delusional fans even think he's rejuvenated,and how does this scumbag repay Arum for his spin cycle and careful matching,he goes home with the first girl that shows any interest and spreads propaganda to his legion of worshipers. **** Joto.

For once,im with you dirk. Arum rebuilt cottos career,after he was coming off a two loss streak against floyd and trout. He got him freddie roach,and basically set him up to get the middleweight belt,and yet cotto is acting as if arum has done nothing for him. All im seeing on this thread is alot of cotto fan,and bob arum haters,applauding a boxers buisness decisions,more than his actions inside the ring. Who cares that hes getting paid 50 million? What i want to know is who is he going to fight,that makes him worth that much. If hes truly the third biggest draw in boxing,he should do something of that caliber. Really so what other fighters from Roc Nation has Haymon worked with? Last I checked he forced his own fighters to vacate belts and turn down career paydays just so Roc Nation wouldn't put on any shows with his fighters. And I haven't seen any Golden Boy fighters work with Roc Nation either. And we'll have to wait and see how Oscar feels now that he found out the entire time they were negotiating a deal the Cotto camp had no intentions of making that fight and were in fact negotiating a deal with Roc Nation. I could care less about Arum and damn sure not about how much Cotto gets for fighting bums. I want to see Cotto fight top fighters. So far in the last 3years he's fought one bum and one cripple. And his next fight will be a bum in June instead of the 2 guys everyone has been begging for him to fight for the last year (Canelo or GGG). That's what I care about.

This thread is hilarious.. People hate Cotto so much that they would actually put 2 words in 1 sentence that has NEVER been used before.. Arum and Truth.. Lol. Let's be real here for a second.. Arum calling Cotto a liar is funny because we all know what kind of a POS snake this old **** is.. And honestly so what if Cotto decided last minute that maybe taking way more money from another promoter with his last 2 years of boxing might actually be a GREAT IDEA.. Haters still gonna hate Cotto regardless of what he does.. But at least he's finally getting Top dollar for his services..
