Yeah, let's do a Broner-Molina rematch while we're at it.

Canelo wants a rematch at the full 154 limit, a weight he cannot even get down to.

Canelo is no longer a world champion so he is free to fight at any damn weight he chooses and it doesn't harm any other boxer or impact any other fighter's career. Canelo fighting his last three fights at 155 isn't breaking any rules and he isn't picking on smaller fighters. Lara is a huge 154 pounder who is willing to fight any middleweight. Angulo went up to 160 in his next fight after the Canelo loss. Kirkland's last fight before his up coming fight with Canelo was fought at a weight limit of 156 pounds so he is coming down a pound. If Canelo fights at 155 for the next ten years what the hell difference does it make? If Canelo gets a shot at a 154 pound title he still has to make 154 pounds. If Canelo gets a shot at a middleweight title he still has to fight a full sized 160 pounder. Meanwhile Canelo fighting other boxers who agree to a weight limit of 155 pounds does no harm to anyone so please quit your bittching.

He's a middleweight, doe. He's picking on smaller 154 pounders by making them go up one whole pound, doe. You may not know it but it affects his opposition, doe.

I find it hilarious though. Sure Canelo's 155 catchweights are lame and all but people act as if he's fighting for titles and or bringing up fighters 2 weight divisions to beat them down. Perhaps his career was a joke up until the Trout fight but limited or not he's been fighting everyone he can get a hold of and not one of his opponents has bitched about the "Canelo" weight. Why? Because I'm sure one whole pound over the weight limit of 154 isn't negatively impacting their performance.
I would have a bigger issue with it if he snatched Lara's belt at 155 but he didn't, he completely ignored the belt and simply took the fight because of the challenge Lara brought.
Personally I think he should move up to MW but I doubt he'd die attempting to make 154. Folks just love to nitpick a fighter's career simply because they dislike them.
His hair is too red, he Irish doe.
Canelo is bloating his opponents by one pound, doe.
GTFO
Folks claiming Trout lost because of the open scoring is hilarious. Trout is a fighter and his job is to fight and adapt. Those very same rules of open scoring are widely used in Thailand, Mexico, Japan and other countries yet you don't hear them complaining that their fighters are losing because of open scoring. If anything it gives the fighters a sense of urgency if they hear they are behind on the scorecards and pushes them forward in an attempt to change the circumstances. But that's an entirely different argument
Canelo weight >>> Weight draining.

And Lara's belt is a joke. He'd be better off throwing it in the nearest dumpster. Canelo didn't want that junk.
And Canelo whipped Trouts ass. The 'limited' Canelo made the 'slick Southpaw' miss like hell, and made him pay. Trout landed a whopping 26% of the 750 punches he throw. Again, make a list of people who think Trout won. All people who cannot stand Canelo.
Lara fight could have been a draw. Nobody ran away with that fight but Lara's belt is worth less than a penny you find in the front yard.

I'm not questioning his work ethic and professionalism, because I believe he has them both. Dude is all business in the ring. But he cannot make 154 all day everyday. He's a MW disguised as a JMW.
