Did you think Mosley was going to beat Margarito?

Even though Mosley was coming off a big ko win over Mayorga, Mosley looked like crap for most of that fight and Margo was a big favorite in this match-up.

I remember thinking that Margo would destroy Mosley. I didn't think he should take the fight in the first place. Mosley should just retire cause I didn't want to see him get smashed around the ring and beat up to a bloody mess. Boy, was I wrong. I have to say that's Mosley most impressive performance IMO.

Yes, I thought so. I remember telling people at the gym Mosley would win. If you look at Margarito after Cotto fight, too much partying and celebrating that victory. Gained a lot of weight in between fights. Then when you see Margarito drained and dehydrated in order to make weight, and dry looking appearance during fight, yes it was clear Mosley would win. Think Margs overtrained for the fight, in order to make weight. Personally, was rooting for Mosley during this fight.

Not even because of Mosley, I just never rated Margarito. To me he was an average fighter in all aspects, all he had to offer was a chin and stamina...that was before he was exposed as a cheat.

I didn't expect a KO, but that changed after a few rounds, nobody can take that many bombs from Mosley.

tbh i thought Margo would get the win based on what he was doing at the time but i was glad Suga Shane gave him the beatdown he received. it was a glorious one to watch. started the year off something proper since the beginning of each year is a slow one.

I thought Mosley had a shot at beating him but I didn't think he'd totally destroy and humiliate Margarito like he did. That was almost like a man fighting a boy - one of my favorite fights though.

IMO if they didn't catch Margs cheating Mosley would have got beat up too.

Margarito wasn't shiet without them illegal handwraps and plaster and Mosley just exposed him twice, first time was before the fight when brother ****m found out that something was wrong and forced Margarito to wear normal gloves andnormal wraps, second time in the fight itself where Margarito got knocked the **** out!

People talk about Marg's illegal handwraps, but in truth there was hardly anything in there.

Why do you think Resto served 2 and a half years in prison for what he did, and Marg got banned for a year.

Margs wraps were found to have a small amount of some of the ingredients to make plaster of paris.

It was a very small amount, and would not have caused his wraps to turn into bricks

There were no brick in his gloves hard hard material there.

Were the wraps illegal. Yes they were.
