Haymon could give both $5 million if it was just about using Haymon's investor's money.
Stevenson-Kovalev, though not a heavyweight fight, is a fight that would come to the table with some serious hype about it. With Haymon free to sell ads for the show, for a time slot that he has apparently shown can carry the key advertising demo, he can generate more ad revenue on TV than the $3m that HBO seemed willing to spend before the fight imploded over money (doubt that HBO commits much more than that to a non-PPV fight).

A lot of posters are struggling to hide their desire to see this fail.

A lot of posters make vague general statements because direct statements, without anything to support them, look ridiculous.

Haymon can spend as much of his investors money he wants to make the fight.

              Exactly.

But he can't point to one thing I said that even remotely suggest to a "desire to see this fail."

I'm debating the numbers, and the PBC = UFC talk.

But instead of debating the numbers like I've been doing, he makes a vague general statement.

The numbers were solid though, It's not really debatable in that sense, and most people arent dumb and can see what you and guys like Divine Hammer are doing.

I agree. Some people even catch feelings over those vague statements.
