I see improvements from Canelo since the Mayweather fight, he comes forward now, cuts off the ring better. But he still doesn't look a natural pressure fighter. A rematch would be closer but still not warranted.

When there's such a gulf between fighters I don't think the weight matters.

        De La Hoya-Pacquiao
        Mayweather-Canelo
        Ward-Dawson

Imo the result in these bouts was nothing to do with weight, just a case of one guy being significantly better than the other.

Did you see "improvements" in the Lara fight? I doubt it...

Did you watch the Lara fight? He regressed from the Money fight...Lara gifted that win to him by not engaging in a prize fight whereas canelo barely had a clue how to command that ring.... cut off ring...nah man you off...

Floyd embarrassed himself and his fans big time, actually the fans embarrassed themselves. This is just as much about Floyd as it is his fans.....and words on the internet and in public are louder than actions and speak volumes about character. He, and his fans were full of crap! Take a seat, kid, you are out of your league on this. Go find yourself a debate where you might have a leg to stand on.
At the end of the day what does it matter? That's my big picture point. What Floyd "says" doesn't matter. Most of Floyd fans aren't fans of his because of his words and how he looks.

It's you haters that care about pointless things like that.

The bottom line is Floyd beats everybody placed in front of him. Period. Slice that how you want it... it still comes out to 47-0. Not 47-0 against Euro bums or Mexican taxi cab drivers. 47-0 against elite, world class competition.

The fight was on even terms DUMMY! Mayweather is the naturally smaller man. Meeting a catchweight is what leveled the playing field. Mayweather has never campaigned as a fulltime Jr Middlweight. He just fights the best in that division then goes back down to 147...

Canelo got his ass whooped because he's not as dynamic as Mayweather, nor is he a better boxer. Weight had nothing to do with it, BUM!

He doesn't want triple GGG or any other Middleweights. That's why he's fighting another Jr Middleweight (above the Jr middleweight limit) in James Kirkland.

Canelo can make 154 with ease. That's why his last two fights have been at 155. Canelo is just your typical hyped up boxer that doesn't take training seriously unless he has a fight scheduled.
