If he fights Porter next I'll be so pissed. Thurman deserves nothing but big big money fights, he should be fighting Brook, Bradley or Khan next.
On a side note Kenny Bayless was FANTASTIC as a ref. He let them fight, he let them fight out of clinches, he barely got in the way of the action and did no harm. Unlike Byrd who for some reason wanted his face shown on NBC as much as Broner or Molina.Comment

dat boy sugarra goin in! lol!
no but seriously, I had the feel that thurman was a bit surprised when not only did guerrero get up from the knock down, but got in dat ass in the 10th. I think humbling is a good word to use in this case and at 26 yrs old and 25 fights in, its high time that thurman learned that power only gets you so far.....i love seeing fighters develop right in front of my eyes....it was on some Ippo ****.Comment

Glad I'm not the only one. I've been a little confused how people are touting Guerrerro like he came out the winner. Okay, he had one good round (10th). Okay, Thurman took the 11th off, I get it. They traded in the 12th and if anyone was getting stopped it was Robert. The Ghost didn't do jack **** for the first 9 rounds, where was the warrior? More like hesitant to throw legitimate punches.Comment

It started because there were some people on here who were touting Geurrero's performance in the ring and at the same time marginalizing Thurmans dominance when Thurman won 11 out of 12 rounds and brutalized Geurrero but couldn't seem to get one accolade from these haters .Comment

WBA 'regular welterweight champion Keith 'One Time' Thurman is doing well after Saturday night's twelve round decision victory over Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The fight was the main event of the debut edition of Premier Boxing Champions on NBC.
Thurman suffered a bad hematoma on the left side of his forehead after a clash of heads in the third round. The injury was treated at a hospital in Las Vegas. Some of the blood flowed down his left eye and caused it to swell.

When are people going to stop saying crap like this? Thurman wasn't "running" at all...and he wasn't "exposed" either.Comment

To be fair, Leonard was referring to Broner and not Thurman. Leonard actually commended Thurman for his performance. And how could anyone criticize Thurman's dominant performance despite having a grotesque hematoma growing on the forehead caused by a headbuttComment

@ sugarrarobinson you idiot people pay to see action and knock outs.this isn't the amateurs this is the pro game.keith had blown up featherweight with the perfect style for him to ko but instead he's the one that got exposed he was gassed and he's lucky they don't go 15 rounds anymore.Comment
