  • Comments Thread For: Adrien Broner Denies Running: I Was Coming To Him!

Former three division world champion Adrien 'The Problem' Broner (30-1, 22KOs) denies that ran during Saturday night's victory over John Molina in the NBC televised co-feature to 'Premier Boxing Champions.' Broner won a dominating twelve round unanimous decision.

Molina claimed he was unable to do anything in the fight because Broner "wouldn't stop running." The crowd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas became restless after Broner played it safe by fighting in spots with a very tight defense.

Broner denies that he ran, stating that he often came forward and pushed the fight. He says Molina changed his style by being inactive with his hands.

Molina is upset that Broner didn't stand there stationary so he could swing like a caveman and hit him with those telegraphed looping rights i.e. he's upset Broner was able to just slip them whilst pick him apart. Broner didn't run but he did fail to open up against a sitting duck because Molina was doing NOTHING.

Broner before the fight talked about making fights the fans want to see but he didn't get the memo that they don't want to see boring fights and that fight was boring. If he had 10 fans left, they are gone now. At least he was more exciting at the lower weights, unlike 147/140.

Broner wasn't running at all. Broner was the one pressing the action. Broner was the one throwing punches. F**king idiot John Molina is.

Everything that was wrong with that fight had to do with what Molina WASN'T doing! Broner doesn't throw an awful lot it was up to Molina to make it a fight... Guys with half the talent, size pr power of Molina understood that and actually made things interesting.

I didn't think he was running. That was a solid performance last night by Broner.

Besides the 12th, no matter how much you hate him, I dont see how you can say he was running.

He was coming at Molina for at least half the fight. And he didn't run except for the 12th.

Molina's performance was abysmal. He didn't even give himself a chance.
