I do sometimes worry when boxing goes mainstream. It feels like an awkward fit, like putting a brilliant but crazy individual into a regular work office environment and just knowing it won't last because there's going to be craziness.

But truly, boxing does not deserve to be hidden either, a gem just all us nerds. We sometimes don't realise this but it is a truly extraordinary sport and when you see Thurman and Guerrero put through such a gruelling effort, get taken to hospital, give a great fight.....they deserve the exposure too.

I don't like Haymon at all but you have to put your biases aside and hope this endeavour succeeds. Who knows, maybe he isn't this all-controlling, evil figure - maybe he just wants to bring boxes back to the masses like we all do.
